A música está no seu primeiro álbum inglês, chamado BoA, é a segunda faixa do álbum e o terceiro singlê do álbum! A música, no relançamento do cd (BoA: Deluxe Edition), ganha uma nova versão, com um novo verso, a mesma versão é usada no video!

Energetic foi escrita e produzida por Sean Garrett. Apesar da música ser ótima ela não fez muito sucesso, conseguindo apenas a vigésiva segunda posição na U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs.

No meu last.fm, com 205 execuções até o momento, entrou 11 vezes no top 5 músicas e é a segunda música mais executada.
